At IEG, Jacobson led editorial operations of IEG Sponsorship Report and:
• Provided strategic direction for the biweekly publication's content
• Contributed to other IEG publications, conferences and consulting practice
• Recruited, hired, trained and managed staff
• Contributed to other IEG publications, conferences and consulting practice
• Assisted with media relations, including interviews with major national media outlets.

At The Exordium Group, Jacobson helped launch Exordium Group.Comments, executed most of the editorial work and wrote e-mails and other promotional copy supporting the publication. He also:
• Generated account-winning sponsorship creative ideas
• Wrote a football and business trivia quiz for E*Trade.com as part of the client's sponsorship of NFL's Super Bowl Halftime
• Wrote a series of briefs covering the effect on sport of wireless, broadband and interactive TV, which guided the establishment of content and direction for the IOC World Conference on Sport and New Media
• Assisted in reporting to the National Football League on the sponsorship practices of leading technology companies
• Helped implement Sun Microsystems' sponsorship of the Tech@Home consumer expo, including design and execution of on-site promotion
• Conducted ongoing research on the sponsorship practices of hundreds of companies for incorporation into client briefs
• Wrote press releases and assisted with media relations on behalf of the agency and its clients.
